We decided to take a family vacation this year with the Thompsons, Barnards, Boones, and Carters to Breckenridge, Colorado. Erik found the most goregous house in the mountains to rent! We had a great time and the weather was AMAZING!!

The Big Easy Weekend

Ben's job does have some GREAT perks! We went down to New Orleans for a weekend in May and had a blast! Our hotel was strategically placed beside the restaurant with the best margarita's in New Orleans! Good or Bad...I'm still not sure! Here are a couple pictures from the weekend...

Jamaica...ya mon!

We Honeymooned in Jamaica - at the Sandals Whitehouse Resort! It was beautiful! We had a long relaxing week laying by the pool, tanning at the beach, and meeting friends! Did I mention that we were also in a wedding? Yes it's true...we meet a couple from Canada and they asked us to stand up for them and sign the marriage certificate! What an experience!

April 4th came and went sooo fast! Ben and I had so much fun with all of our family and friends during the wedding weekend! It was PERFECT! We couldn't have asked for anything better! We are so happy to finally be the Thompson family! Here are some pics from the wedding weekend...

North Carolina Snow!

We were glad to be back to NC after a very COLD weekend in Wisconsin that included many days and nights in the negative temperatures. Only to wake up to 4 inches of snow in North Carolina...it must be following us! Ben, Hudson, Rider, and I had a great snow day!

It's Been A While...

Sorry it has been so long since I have updated the blog. We have been very busy especially with the family coming to visit us in NC this Thanksgiving. We had a great time! While they were here we rented a cabin in Boone, NC and had a great weekend of relxation!
